I firmly believe that there are three great reasons (listed in no particular order) for your business to get involved with Summit the Sun - Climb for Kids.

1. A passion for cycling. Just about everyone around this globe of ours has some exposure to the cycling world. Whether you ride your bike to school, are a paper boy, a Mom with a toddler on the bike path, a fitness fanatic, out touring the countryside, going to the market for some essentials, commuting to work, or racing in the local Tuesday Night world championships - or the like... You might like dirt bikes, mountain bikes, a bike with training wheels, track bikes, touring bikes, recumbents, or racing bikes. You may prefer steel, carbon, aluminum or bamboo. You might know of Merckx, Colnago, Alpe D'Huez, Lance, or the guy down the street always clad in screaming colored Lycra. The passion is the same amongst all - a love of cycling.
2. A mobile marketing tool for unique exposure. A cyclist can get the type of positive intimate marketing you are looking for with folks who are athletically inclined or just appreciate the merits and toughness of the challenge and admire the lifestyle and dedication that comes with it.
3. The genuine goodwill and positive outcome that your charitable and benevolent generosity can provide to the neediest children is a rewarding experience. Everything good happens when businesses reinvest their good fortunes into the community. Everybody wins!

Sponsors garner publicity for the generosity their donation provides to this unique event that promotes their intimate involvement.

Cyclists characteristically wear a distinct kit (jersey, shorts, etc.) carefully designed with graphics which reflect their faithful sponsors. A cyclist is a veritable riding billboard who is very approachable by the public and, in this case, can be instantly appreciated for the obvious toughness of the challenge - beforehand while out training as well as during the actual event.

The whole sponsor experience will be designed to spotlight and promote their involvement. Beside the cyclist clothing, there will also be a manned booth (with sponsor provided demo’s, samples, stickers, coupons, temporary tattoos, etc. - whatever you desire!) in Paia, and several banners with sponsor logos at the booth as well as on the mobile support vehicle.

Local & national media will be invited (i.e. newspapers, cycling/sport specific magazines, with strong potential for radio/TV coverage).

Anti-doping protocol will be followed to ensure athletic legitimacy – Ride Clean!

HOW IS SPONSOR MONEY SPENT?
Absolutely 100% of the proceeds you invest in sponsoring this event will go directly to sustain needy children programs supported by the AAPCF. Merchandise sponsors who have invested durable equipment and goods used in this event will have them auctioned to the highest bidder, with the full proceeds directed to the AAPCF; and thus the needy children in our communities.

“Maillot Jaune” Overall leader - Title sponsor The foremost and largest logo located in the center of front & back of jersey, and back of shorts. One sponsor at $50,000. Exclusive sponsor status may be obtained for $100,000.

“à pois rouges” King of the Mountains - Second sponsor Appropriately the sponsors logo is prominently located on the legs of the shorts! One sponsor at $25,000.

“domestique” Committed to the team fundamentals - Third sponsor Medium sized sponsor logos, locations on shoulders, sides of jersey and back of shorts. Three “domestique” sponsorships are available at $10,000.

“peloton” The rest of the best - Fourth sponsor Smaller sized logos, placed where appropriate on jersey and shorts. Multiple sponsorships are available at $2,500.

Merchandise sponsors
Get your bragging rights with the knowledge that your product performed a significant role in the success of this experience. Logo placement is available at sponsor levels as described above at the equivalent worth of the product provided.

Additional opportunities for business and Individual sponsorships I anticipate this will be an important connection with the community-at-large that supports and believes in this project. Special recognition will be acknowledged for all donations received, no matter what the amount, on the AAPCF fund raising progress board located at start in Paia.
